We use vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and Nature'e Miracle.<br /><br />Borax is beginning to take some of the rancidness out of the carpet, which is the only good news. We are resigned to buying a new dishwasher. I'm freaking out for you! As for Nature's Miracle, the smell won't go away until it evaporates so the only way you know if it worked is if you let it dry completely and then smell it.
